HARDSCAPE & PAVERS
Estate Hardscape.
Designed to Last.
Motor courts. Pool decks. Driveways. Patios. Designed and built under one contract.
TELL THOMAS ABOUT YOUR PROJECTMost hardscape in Naples fails within 5 years. The base wasn't engineered for SWFL drainage and moisture, so pavers shift, lift, and pool water after the first wet season. The contractor who installed it didn't design it — they quoted a surface finish, not a structural system. Drainage wasn't modeled. Soil compaction requirements weren't specified. The base depth was whatever was standard, not what the water table and seasonal load required.
Most paver contractors in Southwest Florida install what they're told to install. They don't design. They don't engineer for drainage. They don't coordinate with the pool deck, the planting plan, or the lighting system. The result is hardscape that looks fine at handover and causes problems within two seasons.
Precision Landscaping & Design approaches hardscape as a structural system — not a surface finish. Every paver patio, driveway, motor court, and pool deck is designed in coordination with drainage, grading, planting, and lighting from the first session.
Hardscape sets the structure of the entire outdoor environment. Everything else — planting, lighting, drainage — is designed around it. We start there.
WHAT WE BUILD
Every Hardscape System.
One Contract.
Motor Courts & Driveways
Circular motor courts, estate driveways, and entry approaches — travertine, shell stone, brick, and porcelain designed for estate scale and Collier County HOA standards
Pool Decks & Surrounds
Non-slip surfaces, coping integration, and drainage built around the pool shell — coordinated with the pool contractor from the start, not fitted around it afterward
Paver + Synthetic Turf Systems
Large-format pavers with synthetic turf inlay — precision-cut geometric patterns that define courtyards, entry approaches, and outdoor living spaces
Outdoor Patios & Courtyards
Living and entertainment areas set in hardscape — designed to integrate with lighting, planting beds, and water features as one coordinated outdoor environment
Walkways & Entry Paths
Entry sequences that set the tone for the property — paver pathways, stepping stone systems, and architectural entry features coordinated with planting and lighting
Retaining Walls & Grade Changes
Structural retaining walls permitted and engineered for SWFL conditions — creating usable level areas on properties with grade change or drainage challenges
Water Features & Feature Walls
Freestanding water walls, fountains, and water features built into the hardscape system — stone veneer, porcelain, and natural materials selected for coastal durability
Drainage Integration
Most hardscape systems in Southwest Florida require a drainage plan — French drains, channel drains, and grading that manages SWFL rainfall. We design the drainage solution based on your specific site conditions.
BUILT FOR COASTAL CONDITIONS
Material Selection Matters Here.
Base Depth + Material
No base, no pavers. Sandy substrate in SWFL means 4–6 inches of compacted limestone base minimum — not sand, not shell. Get this wrong and they sink in year 2. We compact with plate compactor in lifts. We warranty our work because we build it right.
Drainage
In SWFL, drainage is structural — not an afterthought. We design it before the pavers go in, not after. Once they're set, drainage problems cost as much to fix as they did to prevent.
Sealing
Sealing protects joint sand and surface color. It's not decorative — it's maintenance. We include it. You shouldn't have to ask.
Coordinated With Every Other Trade
Hardscape installed before the lighting plan is set means cutting into finished pavers later. Hardscape installed without the drainage plan means regrading a finished surface. We design all trades together — hardscape, lighting, drainage, planting — from the first session.
