Thomas leads every project with a focus on coordination, communication, and execution — ensuring every detail is delivered as designed.

THE TEAM

The Team Behind Every Project

No headshots yet — photos coming. These are the people behind our builds.

Thomas Gow

Owner & Project Lead

Thomas's background is in design and business — not landscaping in the traditional sense. Before starting Precision, he spent years studying workflow systems, visual design, and operational finance. That background shaped how he runs projects: with a designer's eye, a systems thinker's process, and a business owner's accountability.

He has been building outdoor estates in Southwest Florida for four years. Not a long time in raw numbers — but four years running every project personally, on-site, across a market where most contractors delegate from the first week. He knows the soils, the permit offices, the HOA review cycles, and the contractors who show up versus the ones who don't.

"I care more about the details than most clients expect me to. That's not a sales line — it's why the projects look the way they do."

Rick Hutto

Lead Foreman · 35+ Years Field Experience

There's a difference between a crew that shows up and a crew that builds right. Rick is the reason Precision's field work looks the way it does. With 35+ years of field experience, he runs the site with the same standard Thomas expects — HOA-compliant from day one, clean site daily, and no shortcuts that show up in the punch list.

Jen Potokin

Licensed Contractor · 25+ Years Experience

Jen brings 25+ years of construction experience to every applicable estate build. Her background spans carpentry, masonry, and plumbing — built across real projects, not just on paper. That breadth shows in how she approaches trade coordination: she has worked in the trades, not just around them. When complex structural questions arise on site, Jen resolves them.

Tyler Caggiano

Operations & Finance · Rock & Rose Nursery

Tyler handles the operations and financial side of the business — the side that most clients never see but every successful project depends on. Young, detail-oriented, and mentored by two CPAs with over 35 years of experience each. He also runs Rock & Rose Nursery, the sister company that gives Precision direct access to specimen-grade plant material sourced from Homestead, FL.

Alexandria Shannahan

Office & Client Relations

Alexandria keeps the back end of every project running — scheduling, coordination, client communication, and the organizational structure that keeps builds on track. Southwest Florida born and raised, with a family background in SWFL construction, she understands the local landscape — the HOA cycles, the permit timelines, the seasonal rhythms — in a way that only comes from growing up here. Personal, organized, and direct: clients know who to call, and she knows the answer.

Landscape Architect Partner

35+ Years SWFL Estate Design · Subcontracted

Our landscape architect brings 35+ years of SWFL estate-specific experience to applicable projects. Subcontracted — meaning we chose the best professional in the discipline, not the one on our payroll. We subcontract intentionally: the best professionals in each specialty, engaged project by project because estate-scale work demands that standard. Their knowledge of Collier County soils, HOA approval cycles, and SWFL climate conditions is built in from day one.

90+ combined years of estate-level experience on every project.

WHY PRECISION

Why Larger Outdoor Projects Choose Precision

Complex scopes coordinated under one contract — architect, engineer, GC, and construction coordinated under one contract. No handoffs between firms. No gaps in accountability.

One contract eliminates coordination risk — no subcontractor gaps, no trades blaming each other, one accountable team from design through handover. One call answers every question.

We protect your investment — design-to-execution continuity means the team that engineered it is the team that builds it.

SWFL-specific technical competence — salt air, hurricane loads, drainage, and coastal material performance baked into every design. Builds completed in Port Royal, Grey Oaks, Pelican Bay, and across Collier County. Not learned the hard way on your property.

We handle structural complexity that most firms in SWFL are not equipped or licensed to execute — permitted structural outdoor work across every trade, managed under one contract.

90+ combined years of SWFL-specific field experience — every project benefits from decades of working in Collier County's permit environment, soil conditions, HOA processes, and coastal climate. This is not general construction knowledge applied to Florida. It is built from repeat exposure to the actual conditions your project will face.

OUR EXTENDED CAPABILITY

Our Extended Capability

Precision Contracting & Design

In-house access to design and architectural services — coordination and capability that standalone contractors don't have.

Rock & Rose Nursery

Specialty plant sourcing and rare specimen materials sourced directly — access to stock unavailable through standard distributors.

Our sister companies give us in-house access to design services and specialty nursery material — advantages that standalone outdoor contractors don't have. Every plant we install is sourced directly from Homestead, FL — Florida's wholesale nursery hub — not through a distributor.

HOW WE DESIGN EVERY PROJECT

How We Design Every Project

CAD

Engineering-grade drawings submitted to Collier County and HOA for permit review. Every structural element designed to specification.

Morpholio

Used on applicable projects for conceptual design and early-stage ideation. Helps visualize design direction before drawings are finalized.

Landscape Architect

Species-level planting design with SWFL climate data built in — salt tolerance, drainage requirements, and mature scale accounted for from day one. Selected based on the style the project calls for (naturalistic, structural, Mediterranean) and matched to bloom time, mature heights, watering needs, sun exposure, and maintenance requirements. We don't cram plants. Perspective renderings are produced in UVision 3D — photorealistic views of the finished estate before permits are pulled.

Built for Estate-Scale Complexity.

Our model is designed for projects where coordination, engineering, and execution must work as one system. Pool, hardscape, outdoor kitchen, dock, landscape lighting — delivered under one contract, one design vision, one accountable team.

We're not the right fit for standalone trades or quick refreshes — and we'll tell you that upfront.
